April 30, 1995 – Le Mans 24 Hours pre-qualifying: The no. 59 McLaren F1 GTR chassis #01R, entered by Kokusai Kaihatsu UK, posted the 10th fastest time in pre-qualifying. Captured here with Yannick Dalmas on driving duty, and still in its orange-and-silver test colours, 01R would go on to win Le Mans outright seven weeks later painted black and grey and backed by Japanese surgery, Ueno Clinic.
