McLaren F1 GTR - The Definitive History

Derived from Gordon Murray’s legendary BMW V12-powered McLaren F1 road car, the F1 GTR was created in response to customer demand for a competition version. Just 28 examples were built over three seasons, yet they achieved extraordinary success, winning 41 of 131 races and securing two international championship titles.

Written by Mark Cole, this major reference work covers the F1 GTR in exceptional depth, from its famous 1995 Le Mans victory to its later Long Tail evolution and final years of competition. Volume 1 presents the race-by-race history, while Volume 2 follows the individual chassis and the people who raced them.
