Jaguar, Ferrari and Cunningham vied for the race win at the head of a field which also included Porsche, Gordini, Talbot-Lago, Austin-Healey, D.B., OSCA and more. Jaguar’s disc-braked C-types finished in three of the top four places with Tony Rolt and Duncan Hamilton taking a famous race victory ahead of the sister car of Stirling Moss/Peter Walker and the Cunningham C-5R of Phil Walters/John Fitch.
