Kokusai Kaihatsu McLaren F1 GTR #01R

Celebrate one of the greatest stories in Le Mans history with this superb Glimpse of Victory print by John Brooks. Captured during the 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours, the image shows McLaren F1 GTR chassis #01R, the Kokusai Kaihatsu UK-entered car that would go on to claim a legendary overall victory.

Wearing its understated black and grey Ueno Clinic Tokyo livery, the no. 59 McLaren F1 GTR was driven by JJ Lehto, Yannick Dalmas and Masanori Sekiya. In one of the wettest Le Mans races in history, it beat the faster prototypes to secure one of the most memorable victories of the modern endurance racing era.
