Jaguar XJ220C 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours
Celebrate the beautifully brutal Jaguar XJ220C with this superb Competition Cat print by John Brooks. Captured at the 1995 Le Mans 24 Hours, the image shows XJ220C-001, one of two privately entered Jaguar XJ220Cs that arrived at La Sarthe with high hopes following the model’s controversial GT-class disqualification in 1993.
A wonderful piece for any Jaguar enthusiast, XJ220 admirer, Le Mans follower or collector of modern motorsport photography, the print makes an impressive addition to an office, garage, showroom or study.
This evocative photograph captures the drama and presence of the XJ220C in full competition form. Driven by Bernard Thuner, Olindo Iacobelli and Win Percy, the car looked spectacular at Le Mans before an accident brought its race to an end on lap 124.
