One of the most raced of all the Audi R8s, R8-405 finished second at Le Mans in 2000 in the hands of Laurent Aïello, Allan McNish and Stéphane Ortelli. It raced in the American Le Mans Series for two seasons, then moved into historic racing, appearing in the US and Europe. This image shows R8-405 in the Joest livery in which it raced at Le Mans in 2000.
