Audi R8 '405' Print

One of the most raced of all the Audi R8s, chassis R8-405 played a major role in Audi’s extraordinary endurance racing story and helped establish the marque as a dominant force at Le Mans and beyond.

This striking image shows R8-405 in the Joest livery in which it raced at the 2000 Le Mans 24 Hours. Driven by Laurent Aïello, Allan McNish and Stéphane Ortelli, the car finished second overall, completing a memorable Audi podium sweep at La Sarthe.
