On 17 July 1962, CSX2001 came off the AC Cars line in Thames Ditton, UK and was shipped to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where a 260 cu. in. V8 engine and Borg Warner T10 transmission were installed, giving life to the first production Cobra. This is that car, shot in 2017 courtesy of the Bruce Meyer Collection.
