Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training’s Apprentice awards presentation

‘Tis the Season of Awards

It may not have the instant name-recognition of Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood, but Hereford’s Courtyard Theatre was the place to be last Thursday (26th) as the location for the hottest awards ceremony of 2017.

It was the scene of Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training’s Apprentice awards presentation, and we are delighted to announce that Albert Wall took the gong as the 2017 Level 2 Commerce Apprentice of the Year.

A very big hand and hearty “Well done” from all of us at Porter Press, Albert.

While we now evidently need to rearrange our already rearranged office space to accommodate Albert’s award, we are very pleased with how our office move has gone.

There are new shelves for the various new books either arrived or arriving soon, including the latest special edition in our Great Cars series - Lotus 18. More on that next week.

As you can imagine, we’re still putting those stylish finishing touches to the place. The whole team has been involved in the discussions on décor, but when it comes to particular artwork arrangement, there’s really no question of who gets the final word.
