BRDC Bulletin, Winter 2019
'All the books in the Exceptional Cars series are very good; this is one of the best.' IT
Auto Italia, September 2019
'What impresses us most is how diligently the author gets to the bottom of how this car's subsequent history was conflated with that of another 250 LM. Deciphering the actual from the apocryphal with this sort of thing is a nightmare at the best of times, and there's no room for ambiguity here. Hats off to the author for not fudging his conclusions. There's a wealth of imagery, too, including some unseen period shots. Good value, too.'
Classic Cars, August 2019
'A superb book on a cruelly overlooked Ferrari, and great value too.'
Auto Express, June 2019
'THIS title follows one car through Le Mans and into a successful career in historic racing The marque's followers will enjoy learning about the model, and there's the usual high-quality photoshoot on the last few pages. Another great book in this series.'
Review by Kieron Fennelly
'James Page has produced another fine piece of history, including a valuable profile of Ecurie Nationale Belge and its drivers, an important team largely neglected by English texts.'
Porsche Road and Race
'A glorious photo gallery rounds off this excellent book.'
'The presentation and layout of the book is top notch and the text is well supported by a rich selection of images that portray the life of this iconic racer in the best possible light.'
'...this book represents great value for money and comes highly recommended and is an affordable way to build a great library covering some of the best race cars ever produced.'
