Award-winning filmmaker Alex Bescoby, is certainly no stranger to travel and most recently completed a 19,000km journey by Series One Land Rover in a bid to retrace the steps covered by the legendary ‘First Overland’ expedition of 1955.
The reverse journey which saw Bescoby and his team drive from Singapore to London, is now the subject of a new book and upcoming television show and we are delighted to welcome Alex to talk about this unique experience.
Driving a Series One Land Rover is never without adventure; driving one across 23 countries and over 111 days means that Alex has more than his fair share of stories to tell – starting with how he enrolled one member of the original expedition to help plan this new adventure!
